Pizza on the beach

Since food seems to be the flavour of the week (a bad pun is a sad, sad thing), I thought I’d pitch in with my current favorite food joint: the Pizza hut mobile at clifton beach.

Pizza Hut, by any standards, is great. Not only does it offer good ambience, good food, cheese dripping off the edges of each slice and (personal favorite) half and half pizzas, it also has the friendliest crew of waiters/waitresses around. However, if you don’t need all the trimmings and you’re fed up of a friendly server interrupting your conversation to ask you if you’d like anything else, head on over to the clifton beach Pizza Hut Mobile!

A couple of weeks ago, craving pizza, I headed over to the boat basin branch. By the end of it, food enough for two came down to about six hundred rupees. A few days ago, I headed over to the mobile branch of Pizza Hut and bought the same amount of food. The bill this time was approximately half the amount spent the previous encounter.

Mentally high-fiving myself and alternatingly berating myself for disturbing couples obviously out attempting to do the nasty in cars by the seaside, I finally found a couple-free spot and had my pizza.

Awww man… you should take a photo of that Pizza Hut Cart! I love Pizza Hut out here in Thailand, there’s something a bit nicer about it than in the UK, but I couldn’t tell you what.

I’d kill to have a portable pizza hut on my fave thai beach!

Pizza Hut and food at the beach should be different two posts: tehy both aree grand i their own way.

Being a pizza hut fanatic, especially appreciating items other than their pizza, i can easily say its too good. their salads are wonderful, their cheesecakes scrumptiously out of this world, their spaghetti juicy and yummy, the poptato wedges, potato skins and garlic mushrooms to delicious to be left of the order any day. and to top it all, great deals: For Rs. 1179 u get two large pizzas, two garlic bread supremes, two salads and a one and half litree drink. And top it all off by enjoying it at the shore with a wonderfully warm breeze and the waves curling and hitting the shore. Ah! too good!
