Chinese Food

Chinese Food is one of the most favorite cuisines among Karachites. This is quite obvious from the number of Chinese restaurants flourishing in the city. The most popular among them being China Town, near Bilawal House, though my personal favorite is Ming Court located opposite Jimmy’s Studio in Khadda Market. Part of its appeal is that it offers something different from the usually oily and masalaidar desi cuisine which we normally eat. Far from the authentic Chinese taste, they have successfully managed to adapt the taste to cater to the local palette.

there are loads of chinese restaurants in karachi but my personal favourite is “Peking” located at Bahadurabad. many people have not heard of it because it’s a small restaurant, with seating arrangement at one floor, for a maximum of 40-50 people. it is owned and run by chinese fellows.

if anyone goes there, you MUST try their hot and sour soup. :)
