Of dust, stark skies and allergies
The entire city was in the throes of a dust storm today. The sky was so stark it looked what New York must have after the 9/11 incident, as a friend of mine said. Being allergic to dust myself and knowing the large population of asthma sufferers in the city, one can only pray that it all clears up tomorrow.
Yeah, I couldn’t go out anywhere today as I’m allergic to dust as well. It’s seven pm now and doesn’t look like it’s letting up at all. Rain would do the trick.
today was a horrible day – but our so called met office somehow ‘predicts’ only the past. Strange isnt it! they predicted a major dust storm in the country @ 9:00 am four hours after it had engulfed the city from approx 5:00am. Thanks you again MET office for an advance warning – they also had rain forcasted for Isb – any news about that prediction?
PS – Hate these adds cropping up on metblog, especially the new bar in the middle
i came home from uni looking like a desert returned soldier :/
