Sigh, what a reminder. BTW, that is me you can’t see seated in one of teh cars. Now the very thought of Zaibunissa Street makes me cringe. Elphy Street…

Beautiful Pictures – I wish everyone who has such pics should post them on this blog. It shows the magnificient splendour of days gone by.
But times do certainly change. lets look at all the other things that we have today.

exactly. i remember over a decade ago the former schon circle was this grand and magnificent roundabout with a victorian fountain at its centre and beautiful lillies, pansies and all gorgeous flowers before it was torn down toave a modern schon circle: the first signal crossroad whre instead of taking a turn over teh signal, you take a turn under a signal, thereby changing teh art of driving in Karachi. the schon circle had gorgeous marble geometrical figures at all four corners, and today its pulled down to make an underpass,.
everything does change. anyone remember Kh. Tanzeem fifteen years ago? kh. shujaat/tanzeem crossroad had four houses,a dn 26th street has PSO old vision pump and dolphin rest and the road wasw narrow and barely metalled. and today, its loaded with houses.
times do most certainly change.
