Dig-dug
It seems to me that there must be a highly secretive position in our local government whose sole job it is to go about Karachi and find spots that are perfectly functional and, having found a prime and highly useful location, assign someone to dig it up and rebuild it for no reason. How else can one explain the recent digging activity taking place at the Clifton beach pavements which consist of tearing up perfectly fine tiled pavement space just by the steps leading to the sand? Previously used on a regular basis by jogging citizens and the picnicking public every day, this once scenic spot used to observe the waves and enjoy some of the cool breeze now consists solely of dug up remains of foundation stones lying around while someone figures out why they were dug up in the first place and what exactly was planned to replace them.
FOUL! you’re hitting below belt.
it’s really ironic that these guys dig up streets and roads and never mend them well leaving all those bumps that make your digestive system work better and your vehicles lose life.
oh yea even I cant figure this out, when they allow some company to dig up road for any purpose then why dont they also make sure that, that particular enterprise mends the whole road again and bring it to back to the same state. But no we will end up with dug up road. :(
