Deserted.

Karachi bears a deserted look today, thanks to the ongoing elections. Which means that with scarce traffic on the road, I made my usual 25 minute commute within 10 minutes.

So who went to vote today?

I don’t understand why offices are open in the first place? Don’t they want us to vote?

Kashif, don’t tell me that you were also asked to come to the office, today like myself.

And, Huma – today was the first day during the last many years, that I truly enjoyed driving on on Karchi roads. I reside in gulshan and work in DHA and the whole route was deserted both to and from work (I was at work for only 4 hours). I really had a wonderful time leisurely driving on SF and Karsaz Rd. Not to mention the beautiful weather complimenting the drive.
