musings from afar

I’ve been in Lahore for a couple of days now, and while I certainly don’t miss the clouds of dust, the insane traffic jams and the narrow sidelanes that are being used as main roads, it is SO much more humid here than in Karachi. The air is still and oppressive, and while summer in Karachi is unbearable to say the very least, at least there’s always a breeze that makes it seem a bit better!

Karachi summers i think are the most pelasanat thanks to the sea breeze. other places, as u mentioned, it dose seem to squeeze the air out of ure bain, but the breeze is so relaxing here. haveyet to encounter a summer as pleasant as karachi’s, elsewhere
