The Underpass – then and now

The first post about the construction of Clifton underpass was made in March. People speculated it to complete in as long as 2 years. But six months later, it was completed and Teeth Maestro reported it within a few hours of its opening.

I am honeslty impressed at the speed of construction, this project was privately funded (KPT) and was given to FWO – which took care of quality work within the short period of time.

Having a second look at the picture I took almost immediately after its opening Does it not remind you of the Paris Underpass in which Princess Diana tragically died in 1997 Just an observation – I dont mean to curse the tunnel but it sure does look like it ;)

I guess an underpass will look like an underpass where ever it may be located.

Aman – I agree on second thought all underpasses do look exactly the same – BUT…… ;) hahaha I leave it at that ;)

Arsalaan – I too am an optimist for my country and wish my city all the best. The underpass is a good addition to this traffic congested city –

BTW if you recall Cowasjee arguments – How do I get to Boat Basin or to Forum? guide me please
