Driving schools?

When I finished college, I joined New Hasan Motor Training Institute located at main NIPA to learn driving because I’d heard it was one of the oldest and best institutes in Karachi. I paid Rs. 4,500 for a total of 10 classes, one hour each and at the end of it all, it turned out to be a waste of money. Everyone I meet who has been to a driving institute in Karachi to learn driving tells me that it’s no use because the driving instructor’s are controlling the brake and the clutch themselves all of the time.

Then this new person I met highly recommended this one teacher at a certain institute to me so I thought I might as well try it because I really needed to learn driving. I paid Rs. 3,500 for 10 classes, one hour each but even they were too much for me as I started driving pretty well by my 5th class.

Yesterday was my last class and I can drive so properly now that today I drove all alone from Gulshan to Park Towers in the ridiculous afternoon traffic :D I couldn’t be happier. So in case you’re looking for a driving institute, I would recommend Rehman Driving Institute (021-4825203) or you can call the instructor privately, she gives lessons on your own car for Rs. 250 per hour: Ms. Tasneem Javed (0333-3583966)

Hope it helps :)

i also went to hasan motor training institute. although you don’t really learn how to control the car after spending the rdiculous amount of money, you do become confident enough to take it out on the main road. i practised with my mother for a couple of months before taking the car out on my own.
