Daily Times reported today that three quake orphans had been abducted from PIMS, you can read the entire news item here. From what I’ve heard from people in Islamabad, the condition at PIMS is horrifying, since they’re understaffed and are dealing with all the injured children that have been rescued from the affected areas, and security is the last thing on their mind. All those who are in Islamabad or can go there easily, please volunteer at PIMS. Also remember – adoption of the quake orphans has been banned by the Government of Pakistan – so do not heed any notices by NGOs or indiviuals that announce any adoption activities.

I received the following on e-mail today:

In case you or someone you know wants to adopt a child or children
    contact Amir Rizvi.

He has brought 25 kids (3 months to 6 years) who have lost their

    His contact number is 0321-4001211

How are they doing this if the government has banned adoption? The person on this cell number is not answering his phone.

This needs to be investigated by relevant authorities.

    I was afraid of this.

Child slavery is a big market, not just in middle east but all over the world.

Cant say more on this or wont be able to stop my anger.
