Come To Papa.

Argh, I know a lot of us on the metroblog have posted about Papa John’s and their ad campaign, but oh God, I HATE their tagline ‘Come to Papa…’. It appears that the line was thought up by someone who had a very perverted sense of humor. No, I’m not the only one who found it sick, a lot of my friends who saw that billboard were disgusted. Where are the black paint throwing mullahs when you NEED THEM!?!?!

P.S: It feels weird to not post an update on the earthquake. I’m mentally exhausted, and I need to rant.

Huma – I agree the efforts on the EQ have been mind boggling, and u did an awesome job keep Khi Metblog as a single valid source of info on the net. I wish a lot many knew about it – but i am sure we have made a mark in helping the victims. I am not taking credit from others who have done a lot more, but i feel everyone did what they can in whatever way possible. Khi Metblog played a crucial role.

    Thank you Huma

On Papa John – I was disappointed at their service, I went to the Takeaway window a few days back, they did not have any cold cola, messed up my order big time, made me wait for 45 minutes, then suddenly realized oops is that you! we had your pizza ready 20 min ago and forgot to call your name, handed me a 20min cold pizza I was furious, they forgot my garlic bread I demanded a refund – they pleaded sorry – by then i was so dead tired waiting around I just grabbed what i had and walked off – OFF i went to the PAF Meuseum to drop of a truck full of goods.

Hell this deserves a POST ;) will do it

i check this site a few times a day. it pains me intensely to not be in pakistan right now, and this has made me feel so connected to what is going on out there right now. i must say, you have all done an *awesome* job of keeping readers posted. i have recommended karachi.metblogs to so many of my friends who are not there right now. so they can know first-hand, where things are going. i must say, i’m *very* impressed with all that you are doing, and grateful at the same time for having access to all this information (the facts, the feelings, the thoughts and ideas) in a time when i am missing home more than ever before…
