Its getting hectic everywhere that I go…
As Ramazan comes to an end, the markets become busier and the traffic crazier. I live in PECHS, and during the last few days of Ramazan, there are scores of cars parked right till my house (and I live two lanes away from the main road), the sounds of traffic and announcements of lost kids don’t die down till 3 AM (and on Chand Raat, till 6 AM), and to top it off, all the turning points to get home from the main road are closed down by barriers, and you can’t help but wish that you were rich enough to afford a helicopter instead and/or long for days when heading down the road to Pizza Hut didn’t mean battling half an hour of traffic and navigating through the neighborhood routes only locals know.
