Oh good God, my office is FREEZING right now. Why on earth did I have to forget my shawl today of all days :( Its a common occurence to see women wrapped around in shawls in my office in the summers. I hate working with men sometimes who insist that the a/c must be on at full blast, despite the weather changing and the flu in the air..

Oh. I was just going to suggest you call the canteen guy and order green tea. They say they keep the A/C turned on for the cables, or the cables will get soggy. Somehow, I never buy it. Anyway. With the woodne blinds drawn, and the A/c turned on full throttle, and blood pressure falling, it really does feel like a bit of a morgue.

u only need it for equipment if ur on the studio and editing flors!!!
we only keep our ac on full blast in the server an engine rooms….
the open plan cooled by three large chillers… we shut any one or 2 off depending on where its colder…..

    but cables getting soggy?
    really..thats a long shot!

well… girls do feel cold even when it is scorching hot. There is this girl in my office, she would never let us turn on the AC. Whenever we come back from field trip or meeting or whatever we are soaking with sweat and madam is sitting comfortably in the room without any AC or fan.

Maybe girls feel cold because they wear less clothes? Try wearing more clothes next time, maybe full sleeves and something which isn’t see-through and feel the difference.

TV cables. They can get humid and the transmission can get distorted. Or that was what the story they give.

i remember learning physics and chemistry in school….

if humidity is exposed to the cold…it CONDENSES to form water!!!

anyway…i hope the cabling dudes are doing the right thing…

or maybe they are just using the cable factor to keep it cold for themselves…:P
    u never know!!!
