Mela anyone?

Has anyone been to Mela (the place opposite Lal Qila, next to Awami Markaz) during Ramadan? I want to know how is it, as in how is the food and environment? My office folks are planning to go to Mela for Iftaar but I am not too sure about it. So tell me if it is good or bad so that I could convince them accordingly.

Crowded, and often tasteless. Avoid if the party has females. Not a great place to go to with office pals. I just been there once, recently, but that’s pretty much what I hear.

Exactly, Tee Emm. Some people do call it maela. I just went there recently, and the bad parking situation plus the haphazard menu and the “entertainment” just turned me off.

my family were invited to an iftar party at mela yesterday (which i LUCKILY missed) and they tell me its HORRIBLE! everyone came back hungry because the food didn’t taste good and everyone seemed to be fighting for it as if it was the last time they were eating out.
so in my opinion umar, DON’T GO!
