Bomb Blast at PIDC #3

From Dawn:

A car bomb exploded outside an outlet of a fast food chain in Pakistan’s largest city Karachi on Tuesday, killing at least six people and wounding several others, police and rescue workers said. The car exploded outside a Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurant at about 8:40 am (0340 GMT), Karachi police chief Mushtaq Shah told AFP. “It was a blast in a car parked outside KFC,” Shah said. “It was a high-intensity explosion and its noise was heard in several parts of the city. It appears that the KFC was the target.” Six bodies were removed from the scene, according to Muhammad Sabri, a senior official from the Edhi Welfare Trust rescue group. Several cars caught fire after the blast and dozens of injured people were seen bleeding and lying on the ground, witnesses said.

They’ve blocked the road that leads to PIDC from the intersection that leads to the Clifton Bridge. They’ve also closed down the road next to the Hindu Gymkhana, which also leads to Zainab Market, the Governor House, etc.
