Of rumor believing and congo virus/dangue fever..

What is it with us believing crazy rumors like congo virus’ relation to Hot ‘n Spicy.

I went to Hot ‘n Spicy aaj, just got back infact and the place that is usually overstuffed with cars so badly that you can’t move your car was actually deserted! There were hardly four or five cars there in total and upon asking the waiter I learnt that the same has been happening sicne the rumor. When will people udnerstand the virus is not spread through food?

When did we become this gullible?

On other notes, dangue is spreading like wildfire. Two people I know have gotten it but alhamdulAllah recovered. Just make sure you protect yourself from mosquito bites as much as possible and if you get a fever over 103 accompanied by a rash, go to the doctor IMMEDIATELY. It can turn lethal if not managed properly. Be safe everyone.

    seriously….
i was so ticked off when i got SMSes tellin me not to go to H&S….

ppl were reporting 4 deaths…but what about the 4000 plus rolls that are sold there everyday…?

if there is actually a problem, we should hear from atleast 10% of the ppl who eat there!!!

id take this as a serious de-marketing activity by a competitor thats gone a bit too far!!!

An idiot kid gone too far. Kirna, great that you brought that up. I saw Hot ‘n’ Spicy the day after I got the SMS, and it was ALL DESERTED. NOT ONE CUSTOMER. As we know, you can’t park in the 1 km radius of Hot ‘n’ Spicy and service is delayed by more than a half hour on normal days.

However, with all the money that hot ‘n’ spicy are making, they should’ve counter-acted THE NEXT DAY and perhaps thrown a free party.

At any rate, perhaps the customers can show loyalty. (Why don’t we have those amazing displays of citizen action here anyway?) My brother ATE from hot ‘n’ spicy today and brought stuff home. Here’s to solidarity!
