Review: Chobees Ghantay

So I went to PIIA last night to watch Chobees Ghantay. The movie was nice and the concept was kind of unique. I decided to watch that movie instead of some Italian at Alliance Francase, thanks to the comments on my previous post, and I am glad to make that decision. What I realized during and after the show was that art in Pakistan, specifically film making, is not yet dying. It still has a lot of promise if right people come in this field. So I stand quite optimistic about the future of theatre and motion picture in Pakistan.

Besides all that, the tickets of the show were rightly priced at Rs. 100 and environment was excellent. Now I want to see more KaraFilm Festival shows. Personally, I think we should watch more Pakistani movies being screened at the show to promote local industry.
