20 Rupee Note

Has anyone noticed that the 20 written in Urdu on the flipside of the note at the top right corner is actually not 20 rather it is printed inverted and reads out as 06?

*shakes head*

Only in Pakistan…

    If you have such a note, save it! It might be worth a lot some day (if i remember my stamp collecting days correctly)

    Exactly. And it’s a completely idiotic design that shouts “Printer failure. Reprint?”

    Smudgestick’s right though. Yes! The note will have good numismatic value & interest one day.

    Well i searched for a picture online,

    it’s a security feature. When you hold up the note to a bright light and look through it, the ’20′ printed on the back, will line up with the 20 printed on the front.

    Looks like Pakistan is following international standard security features in our rupee bills.

    It was interesting to see quick criticism of Pakistan though.

    Yes, it is described as a security measure in the press briefing. The bill also contains embossed lining on a side for the blinds and it is first time in Pakistan.

    Anyone who gets the note for the first time lookes at it from all angles. The 2 0 – 0 6 things clears out immediately.

    This clearly shows the Intelligent work of the Higher management. What do the army of the high up in the State bank?

    Do they feel any responsibility? Is this not a JOKE with the nation on whose money they are enjoying and dancing like rock & Roll?
    When a Cycle wala crosses the Traffic signal in hurry to catch the customer for the earning of foods for their kids and family they are caught and treated like he might have crossed the LOC but this open breach of Law is ignored? WHY? Why? Why?

    A JOKE OF THE YEAR WITH THE INNOCENT PEOPLE OF THE COUNTRY?
