How legitimate is this??
To the best of my knowledge, driving an unregistered car is illegal.
We have all seen cars on the streets with sheets of paper/card that say “Applied for Registration”.
But how legitaimate is putting up an “AFR 2005” plate?
Im seeing one almost everyday!
Not legal at all, but then, ppl don’t really care here….. the only time they realize about it is when their AFR2005 gets stolen and then there is no way for the police to track it down :)
Well, always two sides to a coin. When law is difficult to comply with, that is also when people may dodge it. I am certain that the holders of that number plate in a city like Karachi where citizens are constantly haragued by law and the outlaws is not a matter of happy choice. Perhaps the person is waiting to get a plate.
This isn’t likely a “choice number.” Paperwork made easy maketh the law easy.
I also have, as I noted on Khurram’s thread, an issue with the very absurd ban on weddig meals.
Where do the lawmakers think we are living? Pak Sar Zameen? This kindergarten utopia DOES – NOT – EXIST. WILL – NOT – EXIST.
Perhaps AFR stands for “A”pplied “F”or “R”egistration, and 2005 signifies the year when they applied for it.
the point we need to understand here is the people who are doing these types of acts are the ones who either have tooo much or the ones who hav roots penetrated deep into the law and enforcement agencies . dont u think the agencies can stop it all I guess tey can if tey are sincere towards the work and decipiline
This is nothing. A few weeks ago, I saw a Mustang in Khadda market with California plates!
Raven, many more man! Z3, etc… in Kharadar and Khadda…
