Hehe this is cool. When i visit Karachi in Dec of 02 i was so scared to sit in the front. I would sit back and ENJOY the adventurous ride from home to shopping centers or wherever we were going. I mean literally it was an adventure being on the streets of karachi and it was KRAZY and WILD to be on the road each and everytime. Even though the whole system of not apologizing or whatever exsists in Karachi, BUT its become part of KARACHI. I mean it is embeded in Karachi’s lifestyle and it brings a smile to my face when I think about it because i realize that Karachi will always be karachi.. Mera Karachi!!!

I agree and then the same educated people will follow every single law outside their own country.

I agree with NEOXEEKHROBE that we need to educate people but not necessarily we have to start it on a government level. If each individual of the society takes his own responsibility and follow the laws/rules/regulations mishap wont happen. The dilemma of our so called educated society is that even the educated people dont follow the rules. You see people in Civic and Corolla running through the RED lights. We need education of right and wrong, and an awareness to to understand what is better for us and what is BAD. And education starts from home, so if we (who are somewhat educated) take up the responsibility to atleast perform our duty individually towards the society, believe me this place would be a better place to live.

DARTHVADER ‘yelling’ is not the solution to anything and ‘money’ is not the ONLY thing people care about. If a person who knows he is responsible for the accident, if he talks in a calm and courteous way i think the issue can be resolved peacefulyl rather then standing on the street and abusing each other and getting voilent ultimately. What is the differene between an ILLETRATE/IGNORANT and an EDUCATED????

No Darthvader, it can be done. We need to educate people. We have to teach them how to live a better life. All we have to do is to start it at a government level. But to do that we have to get in there. The question is would any one among us, people who think like this, wants to even to try to enter government. Most of us are afraid to take that step.

As long as people like us who think, are just happy with a job and a family, change won’t take a shape.

Please try to get in the government. If for some reasons you can’t, TEACH this to others. Others who think. The law is being made mostly by those who themselves are the law breakers.

No Implementation of by-laws for insurance or Traffic Laws……..though we have everything in books…but who cares for it, when it comes to accident everybody knows they have to pay from their own pocket!!!!!!!…….. so why not give a try by yelling at opposite party and take them under-pressure….”shayad baat ban jaey aur paisay mil jayeen”.
