In February 2005, we started Metroblogging Karachi. It was a humble start but soon great authors joined us and the blog became a portal to the life in Karachi. Now that the new year has started, let’s review the previous year and take a look at some of the great posts that helped reach Metroblogging Karachi where it is today.

    I must say that many of the blogs mentioned here are in a class of their own…creative pieces in their own right….I really admire the minds behind such creative describtions.

    HUMA and SABA both have a tendency of deleting comments they dont like. More like Fox presenters who want you to think and read what they think is right.

    i wouldnt agree to that. we only delete comments that are offensive and contain inappropriate language. We all beleive in freedom of speech but we also have to consider the values of the society in which we live.

    I think most of the times comments from some user goes to the junk comment section and the authors doesn’t know…. that’s why the person who has commented thinks that it has been deleted…

    I was neither talking about offensive material nor comments going to junk .I was talking about comments mysteriously disappearing after few hours.

    Looks like some of your authors who try to appear enlightened tend to do exactly opposite to what they stand for i.e ” free speech”.
