No milk.

Happy New Year y’all! :)

I am happy to report that the city government decided not to close down the restaurants this year. So my dad and I went to Nando’s [the SMCHS one] to usher in the new year by overloading our systems with some good old chocolate cake. And we ordered cappucinos to wash down the sugar overdose. Only to be told 15 minutes later by an embarassed waiter that Nando’s had run out of milk, and had to borrow some from the milkshake walas across the street. While our coffees did manage to arrive 15 minutes later, my father and I could not shake off the feeling that when a restaurant of the stature of Nando’s manages to run out of milk, things are seriously going wrong with their standard of service. Nevertheless, we did manage to have a good time, so I suppose it’s all good in the end. Hope you all had a great New Year’s Eve!

    Salaam…

And the Nandos in Mississauga, Canada. Well…the service was ok, I mean its a fast food restaurant so not much service that you can expect. Me and wife did not really enjoy the meal, it was kinda pheeka if you know what I mean. And YES it was Halaal. No plans of going back
