The deodorized Bakra Eid

My bad. Quick to criticize but hardly open to appreciate, haan! The city government did a tremendous job this Eid-ul-Azha by keeping the city clean and odor-free. The usual post-slaughter mess was not observed.

Though the point was driven home by hundreds of “thank you city government, you did you job!” banners – it’s not amiss to mention it here. May they keep doing their job! And while they’re at it, how about give us citizens a little company by suffering along with us and not standing apart and above the law?

It’s sad that i never noticed the stinch-free, carcess-free, gut-free and what-not-free enviroment until reading ur post. Some times we do tend to dwell on the negatives so long that the positive aspect doesn’t get registered in our minds. Thanks for reminding us!
