Thank you Mr. Chappell!!!!

Talk about being sore losers. While the Indians started the Test series as favorites, after yesterday’s Pakistani performance, there’s only a slim chance of Indian victory or even a draw. So what do they do? Instead of concentrating on the task at hand, they’ve already started making excuses. Check out what their coach said about Shoaib Akhtar. While Shoaib has long been cleared by the biomechanics experts of chucking, it will soon become the talk again thanks to Mr. Chappell.

This reminds one of the English tour a few years back when Wasim and Waqar tore through the English batting line up by reverse swinging the ball and were rewarded by the allegations of ball tempering. Yet, when recently the English bowlers acquired the same reverse swing technique and used it to win the Ashes, no one said a word and it was considered an art.

What a stupid statement to make – a more of a baseless accusation

‚ÄúHis action, from what guys tell me, is very difficult to pick up. There is something seriously different about it”

Typical English mentality – just cant tolerate a brown skin beating them to the pulp – Rock on Shoaib

These are Indian Cricket SOPs (standard operating procedures) and they’ve adapted them from Down Under, whenever the threat is there of loosing a match they will revert to this technique to try and mentally handicap the main threatening bowler in this case Shoaib. Yet God has his own ways of handling such mischief and Mohammad Asif has bagged the top three Indian batsmen by uprooting their stumps a few metres. Shoaib got Dravid too. Best of Luck to the team.

    Zag

You’re right – i remember that series in england, those were the days when reverse swing was called ball tampering – i also recall Geoffrey Boycott giving and interview to the BBC and when they asked him what he thought of the latest ‘tactics’ of the Pakistan bowlers he said “listen, if you give them an orange they will still bowl england out!”

I think Mr. Chapell needs not worry about Shoaib, but his own job at the moment. His so called world class batsmen just got blown out of the game. They dont even get wickets thats fast in a ODI as the pakis did in this test match. I think Chapell needs to work more on his players and how he plans on losing the next ODI series to Pak. He’s gona need a nice story to tell the folks back at home in India…
