I am not sure, why this may had happened; one reason may be due to Bush’s arrival in Pakistan – the reason for the blast of close proximity to the American Counsalate, or,
The second reason could be to harrass the general public in observing tomorrow’s strike… two cents worth.

    What do the others say……??

Just to make propaganda and seek Bush’s Help for Mush’s Dictatorship and to convince Bush that Mush is his best friend in Pakistan and to overcome such fearful things , US should support Mush govt. Just note the timings :-)

Clifton bridge (part that is going towards metropole) is closed. Ambulances are going back and forth after every few minutes.

My cousin was passing by the marriot at the time and took a piece of shrapnel to the chest. Luckily he is a big guy and it didn’t slow him down much. His wife has glass from the windows in her face. Their car is totalled and had to be turned over the police/rangers or whomever because if that fragment of whatever the bomb was is still in it.

I doubt they were the only ones and actually think they were probably one of the luckier ones.

    Shit… this sucks.

very brave comment turab, can you please give some identity of yours where some people might approach you in person to give you an answer? :P

I am just wondering if you are trying to belittle Turab’s comment. All Turab is doing is expressing his frustration and anger at this cowardly act. These extremists do indeed need to die and be dealt with severely.

Agree with Turab and Faisal. Killing innocent people is murder, and must be vehemently condemned.

Why don’t they suicide bomb each other. Then they can all get their 72 virgins and leave us in peace.

it’s the Reilgious Mafia at work again -poor bastard who was talked into doing this does’nt even know that there are no 72 virgins waiting for him at the end of this , just eternal hell for killing innocent people.

Yes i m very much so frustated at this loss of life and chaos in karachi. While America is making deals in nuclear feild, here we are scaring away the potential foreign investment which had started to make its way into the pakistani economy. Zubair, if you were outside the country and saw such brutal images on all foriegn news outlets, i don’t know what your reaction would have been. But, mine was rite there. I am not afraid of anyone but GOD ALMIGHTY. You can reach me at !
I won’t argue with anyone, quite frankly i just don’t have the time rite now.

PS: Also if there are foriegn terrorists taking shelter in anypart of my country, they need to be dealt with rite there and then. I don’t understand how people defend those terrorists who choose to create trouble in my country instead of going back to where they have come from!
