Incorrect Directions

Just saw this board while stuck in a jam on Rashid Minhas road this evening.
While Dalmia is on the next left turn, Gulshan Chowrangi is NOT!
Directly opposite the Dalmia Road is a Shell fuel station. Further down Rashid Minhas Road is Johar More, followed by NIPA overpass AND THEN Gulshan Chowrangi.

Someone was clearly off their bearings when they placed this board!

:) Sure seems funny at first glance, but this is a legitimate way of placing direction boards. You point to places that people might want to go next instead of pointing to the immediate location. This way if I’m new to a Karachi, and I don’t know what stands between me and gulshan (be it nipa), I will know to turn right if I want to get to my cousin’s home in gulshan.

You see this kind of directions everywhere in the Middle East and Europe.

If you want to go to gulshan chowrangi, you dont need to turn at all!
