New fashion statement
I am sure all of you have noticed Toyota Vitz cruising around the city. This new stylish vehicle became too popular in a matter of months. They say these cars are imported from Japan after being reconditioned (means they are used), and from what I’ve heard there are no spare parts available for the car in local market. Still everyone is buying the car like crazy. I wonder what’s getting them so excited.

yeah they are used, very few of them are 0 meter, but their prices are way high. spare parts are not available yet, but I think they will be available soon, jab demand ho gi..

i havent seen any golf gtis as yet.. that should hit the market as well.

guys, would u buy a used Japanese car than buying a BRAND new locally assembled car? I would. Used japanese cars are still worth it. Let me know what you all think.

I’d definately go for a used japaneese model :S

i got a brand new mehran ! OH MY GOD ! two months after i took it out.. i’ve been taking it to get fixed !

rather have a stable japaneese car ! waise, i’ve heard that prices have really plumetted on the Vitz, since there’s a new model coming in now, the older ones have come down as low as 4,85,000 instead of the 8 lacs originally.

Oh my God! Vitz rocks. I own a Cultus and a Mehran, both brand new but my goodness what noises come from where? Only God alone knows.

I would indeed go for a Vitz. Couple of my friends have it; one of them has got a stylish black two-door! Japanese rock!!! even used :)

It looks ugly — like a retarded turtle — never driven one though so can’t comment on that aspect.

Vitz is being imported and gobbled up by local buyers now just as the Daihatsu Charade did in the 1980s. Once you have these cars here in large quantities, spare parts are no problem, so that’s not a worry. The prices vary from Rs 485,000 for the 1999 model to Rs 950,000 for 2005. Illusionfs, if you are getting a 2004 one for 485,000, please get me two as well :p
