Run to Papa
Seems like Papa John’s Pizza took too much heat for their “Come to Papa” slogan. They have changed it to “Run to Papa”. But whatever the slogan may be, it will never work until they made good quality pizzas.

Actually it’s been changed for quite sometime now….. also, it wasn’t changed because the flak it got, but it was changed to announce the new deal they have nowadays…..
btw, i never went there in the initial days after reading so many bad reviews it got, however, just last week, i got the chance to taste it and i must admit, the quality was pretty good and the service was efficient. I don’t know what everyone was complaining about…
on a pizza related note, i hear pizza next is being sued by pizza hut for copyright enfringement – any truth to that?
i wonder. but honestly, even donino’s was criticised a lot in the beginning. just recently went there. not bad at all.
I too was a fan of Papa John’s (in the US) bu here it just seems something is missin….
I must say its just not up to the mark – or maybe I have forgotten the taste of a good quality Papa John’s after being infected by the oil soaking Pizza Hut ;)
the oil soaking Pizza Hut ;)
ehhe, nahi yar ab aysa bhe nahi hay :>
Honestly, my first taste of dominos didnt go well. But the next time i had it, it was great.
Does anyone know how many other countries does pizza next operate in? They write “now in pakistan”.
I’ve heard that Pizza Next is a local chain. An ex-pizza hut Pakistan employee has opened it. Not sure if its true… but the taste is almost similar..
I asked the guys Pizza Next and they told me that they also operate in the UK, i never saw em there, kher.
They should be sued by Pizza hut man, just look at their branding, the boxes, the interior, the taste of the pizzas.. they are Pizza Hut Wannabees..
Anyone knows any cheap (sasti) places to get pizza from?
Pizza next is NOT a franchise….the employees just made it up…its local chain, same prices, same menu, even the clothes of the waiters…its ridiculous…I’d rather go to Pizza Hut…
anyway, the only cheap pizza place that comes to my mind is Kings n Queens at boat basin…havent had it since 8 years but i used to like it pre-Pizza Hut..
or try out the Khada market eateries..
I think Papa John should think of such a slogan, which is not so corny. :P I dunno how much they pay their adv team, but c’mon!
ADNAN -honestly leave a pizza in the box for 4 hours and then pick it up you will see th bottom soaked with oil – I wonder where that comes from ;)
I just feel that since Pizza Hut was the first in the market it has captured our taste buds. So its not surprsing that Pizza Hut continue to remain hooked onto our taste buds, and will remain the atarry eyed boy wonder for Pakistanis ;)
Teeth maestro, u r so very right about the oil. We ordered Meat Lover’s pizza a week back and god there was oil sizzling on the top in all it’s greasy glory.
There used to be an absolutely delicious local pizza place near where Cafe Zouk is now situated called Pizza Paradise. Anyone else remember their pizza? I’d vote them over any of these frnachises any day.
Just wondering if they have started selling pizzas by the slice in Karachi or does one still have to buy the whole pie ?
Big chain pizza places like Pizza Hut, Papa Johns etc. almost never sell pizzas by the slice. Unless you are eating buffet there.
Can anyone tell me why the ‘Come to Papa’ slogan got so much slack? (I am not living in khi, so dont know, thanks!)
