1. I wish people would stop trying to change lanes while in a traffic jam because the lane next to them is 6 inches per hour faster than the one they are already in.

2. I wish motorists could actually drive in a lane rather than between them.

3. I wish motorists would stop spewing pan while in a traffic jam because they often end up leaving stains on other peoples cars.

4. I wish commercial and office buildings were less pan stained.

5. I wish cellphone companies devise a mechanism to inform their customers when their prepaid balance drops to a ceratin limit, instead of cutting off calls and blocking SMS and GPRS activity.

6. I wish roads would stop getting dug up within a week after they are constructed.

7. I wish this bird flu thing goes away soon!

8. I wish the President and PM stop coming here.

9. I wish radio RJs would talk less and play more music!

10. I wish the weather cools down soon!

11. I wish for some hang gliding, bungee jumping and more out door sports opportunities here!

If any of these wishes remind you of any of the previos lists, believe me we are just wishing a bit too much!

    13. I wish that someone (either from another country or another planet) can come here to instill in us a certain level of CIVIC sense. (but then again this is a wishful thinking.)

    14. I wish that instead of finding faults in others, we should try to find faults within ourselves and rectify them.

@ wish list # 2 : I hate it when motorcyclists do that specially a lady and several children practically dangling form the bike , I once saw a Vespa scoter with 4 kids on the back seat behind the rider, One the standing on the foot rest and a little Girl sitting on the foot stand just by the break on the centre beam.( those who have seen a Vespa Scoter will get the picture) and all these kids were under 12years of age.

@ wish list # 3 : And they also spew on people!! Once in Sadaar Area I was near the market where they sell the camera equipment.. And I Absorbed the full impact of the Pan Spit by one of the bus passengers on my head :( .

    @ wish list # 5 : I agree .. Hope Telenor people are reading this !

@ wish list # 7 : If you visit New Karachi , North Nazimabad, F.B. Area , and the Marriage we attended yesterday – You might be forced to believe that there is no such thing as bird flue in Pakistan. About a months back I told an NED university Student not to have chicken as there were 3 cases of Bird flue confirmed in Agha Khan ( I had received this message from an art gallery) here is what he replied ” Yaar!! Don’t be silly! it is just flue, and have you every heard that some one died of flue, and this thing is even not Human flue It’s just bird flue, we can’t die if a bird is sneezing, my father says it’s all a rumor and Bird flue is not at all fatal”. Please note that His father is a principal of a college and calls him self an educationalist.

I do wish your whishes come true sooner ( I know they will come true by year 2050 ).

Ask me how much do i agree with wish list # 8. I’m a direct ‘victim’ of the frequent visits made by the ‘big dogs’ of the nation. I live in apartments on Sh-e-Faisal flanked on both sides by areas occupied by the armed forces and whenever there is a landing of our PM or President, it’s as if we are under house arrest. Almost all entrances (and exits) are blocked and the brainless security walas make us shift our cars to the basement. Sometimes, they even collect NICs from the residents making us feel as we are members of Al-Quaida. Where is democracy, Musharaf bhai?
