Bomb Blast at Nishtar Park

BREAKING NEWS (7:25pm) A bomb blast has been just reported at Nishtar Park during a public meeting. The bomb exploded near the stage of the event and initial reports of a large number of casualties are coming in.

Update 10:40pm: There are reports of 47 deaths and upward of 50 injured

    37 dead and 50 injured reported so far, according to Geo. What kind of human beings would so such a thing, and that too on a day like this?

    As at 8:15 pm, over 30 persons confirmed dead. Several injured.
    Blood badly needed at liaqat national, jpmc and civil hospitals.

    Renowned philanthropist Hanif Billoo also feared dead, several religious scholars injured.

    I can’t believe this one. This is horrible! It happened while they were praying namaz for the Holy Prophet (PBUH)’s birthday. The bomb was said to be present under the stage where they were praying Maghrib namaz.

    I know you can’t always trust these initial reports but they say 40 dead, 50 wounded. Lets see what the real number is but its bad either way.

    I mean COME ON! Disgusting. Not that I’m the greatest Muslim or anything but I’m pretty sure that whoever did this just got a VIP pass to hell and I wish them a great trip.

    Blast took place while Maghrib prayers were being offered in congregation.

    Fire truck set ablaze by protestors, police and rangers beaten up.

    After this terrible event. now we should ready for more accidents and bombblasts, as it is tradition of our country or our country terrorists.May be there would be strike tomorrow, as it is not thing i must say .that more accident which happend after any bomb blasts or bad events or those pople who burn buses or other vehicals are done by any terrorist group, not that party which is effected by that bomb blasts.

    Haji Hanif Billo, chief of ahl-al-sunat jamaat is confirmed to be dead in the blast. Sunni tehreek’s chief Iftikhar Bhatti and other important leader Abbass Qadri are also believed dead, not confirmed yet.
