Monsoon anyone?

Now this is interesting. Who is praying for rain? Be careful what you wish for, you might just get it!

Another great example of our brilliant engineers and so called town planners. I am not praying for rain anymore because the whole city is dug up. When rainwater will fill up these holes (large enought to swallow a car)will become death traps. I am still trying to cope with news of infants and toddlers being butchered from kite strings. I don’t think I can handle more of these mindless deaths.

Yeah I read the news this morning .. :( sadly they decided to reconstruct the whole of Karachi all at once and in due to a complete absence of planning they dug up the whole of Karachi. I don’t think they have completed any one of the started projects and I don’t think they will be able to do much in time before monsoon.. So it is a disaster waiting to happen. Lets hope we all survive this monsoon.

I think the reason the city government had started all of the projects simultaneously is because of the time they have to utilize the money given by the Federal government. I think they have three years to utilize the money otherwise it will go back to the Fed.
Same thing happens here in USA to some extent where Federal government gives money to different state departments for different projects and if that money is not being utilized in the allotted time, it is taken back! Of course, these guys have more planning and systematic way of doing things than our planners back @ home …
So I guess lets just hope and pray that nothing bad happens

First off! We have been crying for “not raining”! and now we are crying for “IF IT RAINS”!!! what do you think the ‘ONE’ would think of us who actually blesses us with it????

Secondly… In Pakistan… Never compare it with the others and Specially USA, here we have CURRUPT people… Yes you heard me right…!!! Have you ever heard in pakistan about any MONEY getting BACK to where it belongs????????

In the last I would say that we should only wish and pray for the best. and don’t talk.. if we wanna do that, lets bring some implimentable ideas up to prevent bad things from happening!
