Changing Colors

As I was heading home from Village, I noticed the changing weather. It looked like it will rain heavily, but it didn’t. The color of the sky changed orange-ish as you can see in the pictures. I remember I have experienced hailstorms in Karachi twice when the sky turned to a similar color. But no, this time there were no hailstorms, no rain, just a bit of drizzle. But it was good enough to create that ‘Matti-Baarish’ smell which I am sure most Karachiites love. It’s been so long we have received no rain. I wish it rains soon, as our city needs to be washed. So much dirt/dust is accumulated on buildings, trees and other structures which need to be washed. Karachi looks Brand New after a rain and it has been so long Karachi looked like that.

I typed all this before reading Mansoors
.. His description is great, I am sure my pictures will help you guys
understand what the nature of atmosphere was last night.
