The story is the same exact issue repeated over and over again a driver being pulled over for 2-3 reasons,

1- He either ran a red light
2- He was only a driver and the polciya though he might score a chai pani in this process
3- He was on a cell phone (unlikely)

I can bet that the story revolved around the issue of the driver trying to squeeze his way out of the jam and the Polciys pushing to extract money, using his authority and threatening to issue a challan. It is a game played out millions of times a day with a small percentage of the money actually going to the official exchequer.

I wish there was a picture of him actually exchanging the money but its not in the series.

This is the sad side of our country, neither do we want to pay the penalties and we all join in this crooked system to live on rishwat

I may be wrong but the picture number 5 and 6 seem to indicate something afoot. It appears to be cash in the hand of the driver??? any closeups?

IllusionFS, did you take the pictures or got those from somewhere?

I personally think the least we can do is not mask their faces and let everyone see who they are; you never know, may be someone on KMB might know who that police wala is and might try to ghairat dilana him after that!

TM: I do have a closeup, I will try posting it here.

Manny: I was bored standing in the window with my camera and for some reason the police-wala stopped him right infront of where I was standing. So..

I dont know why the driver was stopped.. But the thing is, the policewala refused to take the bribe and that is what makes this case different from the usual. Actually that is why I got interested in posting here and checking how many still think positive towards are ‘Tullas’.

The correct order of pictures can be seen at

Apparently noone does. and with good reason too. Exceptions like these makes one believe that there still are honest men in our police force…even if they’re in a shrinking minority.
