Another one bites the dust..

On shahrah-e-faisal, theres a dearth of good lunch places. Most of the food served is crap anyway, and just a place-filler till we can get home to eat, or bring lunch from home.

However, this one place was a far beyond its competition in terms of Tasty food. Premier Broast, operating for quite some time now, had a different tasting chicken than most of its competitors and was one of my favourite lunch places. Sadly, though.. they’ve now finally pulled down their shutters a little over a month ago, thanks to all the rampage of the bird flue and chicken fluctuations. A sad time for shahrah-e-faisal lunch crowd indeed.

Exactly! There are no good places to order food from at Sharah-e-Faisal!

My office peons have found a nice biryani shop (I dont know where) but the biryani is really good but a decent medium size chicken piece and two biggg potatoes….

Man I miss my days of work at my previous employers (Maersk and P&O Nedlloyd) where we used to get food for free :(

Come to Chundrigar Rd … We don’t let you go home early and we don’t let you starve …

You will find more good food in Khardar than Chundrigarh Rd.IIC is nothing but typical junk food hub and yea please dont talk about Biryani center,it really sucks.I would prefer Kharader’s Daal chawal over Biryani of Biryani Center.

Karachi Foods is going to open soon by Food Center/Karachi Haleem opposite Premire Broast and few walks ahead there is Student_Biryani tuck shop at Bus stop, also KFC is there too. Atleast nursery has got plenty of eating outlets.

moiz: red door… i tried their broast the other day.. it was too salty for my taste, and the crust was too weak :S i’ve heard from others that sometimes their food also tastes sweet.. :S

zain: good ol office peon! i wish i had one of those… we get to rely on either delivery, or going out ourselves :S

discreet madness: hahah! atleast here, we go home on time. Still have some sort of a life ;)

abdul sami: the prob wid them is you have to actually *go* there… in the heat, plus with deadlines (and my laziness)… thats usually not an option.. does Karachi Foods have office delivery?

Thats sad, although I never worked on Sharah-e-faisal, but Premier would usually come enroute to home/client visit. I loved the broast and the chutney too. Is simla, the burger place deep in nursery, still open?

We’ll have to wait until the banner which reads “INSHALLAH anqareeb iftetah” goes out. it’s hanging there for about 3 months i guess.
