An art exhibition of miniature paintings by nine young artists opened at the V.M. Art Gallery today. The artists whose work is on display are: Aliya Yousuf, Ameena Raza, Amra Mukhtar, Fariha Subhani, Fatima Emiko Shah , Navaid Iqbal, Sanya Arif, Sheeeema Khan, and Javeria Kazi.

Miniature Titled ” New Shapes of Thirst” by Navied Iqbal show’s his excellent command over his work, the use of colors and composition of the rest of his work also stands out, Also the art work of Sanya Arif displaying the marriage scenes and the theme of Karachi by Aliya Yousuf are wonderful. “Dying Inayat” by Sheema Khan is a delicate, and fine work of artistry which sheds light on the killing effects of smoking.

For me the whole exhibition was a wonderful experience and I am sure you will be inspired by every single artwork on display at the exhibition.

The exhibition will remain open for public till 21st of July 2006.

Address:
V.M Art Gallery
Rangoonwala Community Centre,
