So we all love China Town?

http://karachi.metblogs.com/archives/images/2006/07/chinaTOWN-thumb.jpg

Most of my friends & family love china town for its taste (However I am not a Chinese food lover).. We were at China Town last night. If eating undesired food wasn’t enough, I discovered this worm in my plate while I was eating and that was it. I was already frustrated because of the choice of restaurant and I called on the floor manager to ask him what was going on.. He looked at the worm with disbelief, as if the worm was from an outer planet. So he asked the chef/senior manager  to come on floor to verify if it was actually a worm (hello???) and not one of the ingredients. The chef/manager came and verified that it indeed was a worm .. the floor manager made stupid excuses like "Chawal mein aa jatay hain keeray" and I told him to shut up. The manager (chinese guy) was very customer friendly and he took the responsibility and apologized greatly. It looked like he cared unlike the floor manager (local fag).
The worm looked like it had fallen on the plate from somewhere because it was alive and not cooked at all. I don’t really blame the administration of the restaurant, this thing can happen with any restaurant.. but it was good enough reason for us to not pay for the food. YEE HAWW!

PS: I am sorry for the quality of pictures in the post as they were taken from a camera phone.

You sure you did not take that worm in a pocket ;). I wish they had cameras to record your activity :-).
Any how I accept that it was not a nice expereince but you should have paid for at least other dishes but then they are big fags so its all okay in end !!

PPH: :) .. I did not take the work in my pocket but I wud recommend everyone else to take one if they want free food. As for paying them for rest of the dishes, they insisted we ate for free, I dont mind :)

Hey IllusionFS you are a brave person finishing your meal even after discovering the worm. Let’s hope the local Fag is not pissed at you or on your next visit you will certainly get some worms (this time cooked ones) in your dish.

Eeww !! .. Worms (caterpillars) are cute and innocent but I wouldn’t want them any where near my food :P .

hey! I just noticed “Edible” are renovating their shop !!! maybe all the worms escaped from them and one of it ended up in your platter.. :P

i feel bothered by your use of the expression “local fag” in contrast to “chinese guy”

it implies a stereotype against ‘locals’ (the ‘natives’ of pakistan); and suggests that people’s personalities and professionalism is determined by their ethnicity, or their being ‘local’ or not.

furthermore, the use of the word ‘fag’ in a derogatory manner is insulting not only to the individual you are referring to, but also to the significant, diverse, and contributing gay community in pakistan and around the world.

Ya, what’s with the use of the word “fag”? Very disappointing and upsetting behavior from KMB.

please see the terms ‘local & fag’ two different words and not one phrase.. I meant that floor manager was a local and a fag (most decent thing I could call him after the irresponsible behavior he showed me towards customer satisfaction.

Sorry to have hurt you both, but it has nothing to do with his ethnicity.

    Cheers

hi there, It reminds me the whole drama happened last year at Wendy’s (U.S.A). A woman went to wendys and found a finger(human finger ) in her chilli bowl :).She tried to sue wendy for damages(lost of appetite etc). But after investigation they found out she actually implanted that finger herself. So to make long story short wendy counter sued her for damages(boy Wendy lost millions of dollar in lost revenue etc) and she did end up in jail which i think was more than fair. But let me tell you during the whole process and even its been a long time i am not able to buy fast food from Wendys :).I eat halal food so bascially i used to buy fries and veggie or soy burgers etc , but i just cant do it anymore.

OH God.. ewwww.. I like food at China Town, but I blv its a one time experience, not every time a worms gonna pop out in our rice dish… :P

Thanks for your comments everyone. I did not post this incident to mock China Town.. infact I was more than humbled by the Manager (Peter or Udo) and I am sure its just a one time thing. I have never heard nor experienced such an incident before.

    Regards.

Its just the beginning you know. Every thing has to be first time. Now so many people would carry worms with them that it would become normal and then that Chinese guy would start taking cheques even if you shout “Snakes in the China Town” and then some one would say that “Chinese” faggot was so mean that he charged even for that worm/snake.

I better go sleep I guess.
