raining, no electricity

its raining again already. the forecast is for four days of thunderstorms. and as if that weren’t bad enough, loadshedding has now combined with “power cuts” to add to the misery. at the very least, i hope the nazims have taken some measures to ensure better drainage this time round.

otherwise we might just be hailing gondolas instead of taxis on sharae faisal. which brings up an interesting point. what would a karachi gondola look like? yellow with chamak patti on the sides and a picture of anjuman at the back with dekh mera naseeb written under it and a makrani gondolier yelling “chee ray!” at the motorboat overtaking on the right…..?? comments people? whats your karachi gondola like?

Your posts are almost perfectly punctuated, except caps. If you can put full stops, exclamations and question marks, why not caps? Not that I have a serious issue, but just wondering.

And we have whole Karachi decorated with lights. Wow. Darkness at home and city will glitter. What a sight that would be.

Some one, donate a small piece of sense to CDGK.

Missing the rain……no matter what havoc it brings along……

Landing in Khi on Thursday night…..Wish I could enjoy just a bit of rain….even a drizzle would help!!

    Point of view……
One man’s misery can be another’s hope!!

Hello everyone, I am in your city! Yes I have just arrived with Zeenat Aman and we have also brought a gondola from Italy to enjoy the ride on your poor Shahrah-e-Faisal.

“Do lafzoan kee hai dil kee kahani, ya hai mohabbat ya hai jawani”.

    Ciao!
