Tense but relatively peaceful.

It’s strike day. Things seem peaceful so far. Surprisingly Karachi University is open. Wether classes will happen remains doubtful. Things are tense but quiet on the roads. Saw no disturbance enroute to F B Area.

Maybe we’re finally learning to stage peaceful strikes. Even though our politicians keep trying to keep the issue alive and burning by giving out statements that are bound to rile people and our assembly keeps staging walk outs. They’ve done it so many times by now that the term “walking out” on an assembly session has lost its importance.

Regardless of where you are; at home, in your office or any place else. Take the necessary precuations and be alert. All it takes is one burnt tyre or a car for things to get out of control.
