High-class Ambulance Service

Whats the best way to get the most influential people through a particular hospital’s door? Offer them ‘exclusive’ and high class ambulance service!!

Atleast thats what Hilal-e-Ahmer is doing. Pretty cool, if you ask me. Just because someone’s dying doesnt mean they cant ride in style. I bet they also charge a pretty penny for this, as opposed to the Rs. 50 Eidi Ambulances charge.

Their numbers are 5836281 and 5833973, if god forbid, you ever need it.

It looks like a land cruiser. Not sure how that would make for a good ambulance. Oh well, same people undoubtedly have more money than brains.

My two cents, a Toyota Land Cruiser would make a much better ambulance than a Suzuki Bolan. You could just ride over sidewalks, and go through unbuilt roads if the need arises.

Khurram Farooq: Maybe in Murree or Gilgit, not in Karachi dude. Do you know how big a Land Cruiser is compared to a Bolan and in a metropolis where we have traffic jams every now & then and so much construction is going on. A bolan can be a life safe.
I have seen some Land Cruiser/Prado drivers driving their cars like its a sports car with sharp cuttings. They must realise that these cars are not designed for that. They look funny doing that.

illusion: i agree they look funny.. but also, with all the construction, and broken roads.. a land cruiser doesnt really sound that bad….

What is wrong with those ambulances ?? They are just increasing the number of ambulances in city. They are not forcing any one to take those. They would be working in parallel to Edhi etc. Some times people need good services when they are travelling inter-cities. How it would be for one travelling from Hyderbad to/from Karachi in air conditioned ambulance in month of june when there is every possibility that Edhi ambulance could break down. I guess its positive addition. Style has nothing to do with that.Be positive. (See who is saying ??)

From a busniess satnd point, I donot see any harm. Distribution of wealth is important. Rich people truly run the economy of the country, I think we need to give the rich more opportunities to spend money in the country.

Is this ambulance allowed to pass when the traffic is held up for some VVIP?

Anyways how does this ambulance system work? I know Eidhi responds to anyone in need. But these ambulances are for the hospital. Will they respond to anyone in distress?

Because usually ambulances like these are used to carry the dead from the hospital to the house and doing hospital chores.

kashif: good point… we do need more opportunities like that.

yo yo: They’ll respond if you want someone to be taken to Hilal-e-Ahmer would be my guess. Other than that.. they’re usually used to transport doctors around i think :S
