Pakistani!!
6th September, 1030 at night. Just had dinner. Too tired to pick up the dishes, I’m switching through channels. There’s Opera show on 1 channel, a romantic movie on another. Quickly browsing through, I stop on PTV to take a glimpse on a tribute program for heroes of ’65 war & 8th october earthquake, followed by back to back songs by Noor Jehan & Mehdi Hasan. Suddenly I miss Pakistan & the people back home like never before, & have to take a glass of water to swallow emotions. Before I realize, its 12 & I just have to hit the bed. PTV looks like on eid transmission. O yes, I’m a Pakistani, always & forever, & damn proud of it!
