Accident at Allahwali Chorangi
I just received a couple of pics regarding a gruesome accident at Allah wali chorangi at Tariq Road. Anyone have the details? I doubt anyone from the car got out alive.

OH MY!!! Its simply shocking, I was at McD at around 6 it was probably cleared up by then, but there was a massvie traffic jam either side so I can guess it was all because of this.

i am not sure how it has happened as i haven’t read the entire news…but i wonder how fast the car was moving and even faster probably the tanker!! were they trying to create a record or something?

its total. i don’t know how hard they hit each other becasue usaullay the upper portion of those heavy thinges remains okay only the their lower body recives damages in car truck collision

Naeem: I agree with you man regarding the speed of the car. I doubt it was moving less than 100 km/h when it hit.
Although it’s hard to reconstruct, I think the car was speeding and trying to overtake the tanker, and ended up swiping it at high speed.
Btw, can anyone guess the make and model of the car?

my driver was there at the moment when this takes place…..he said it was a terrible scene ….the car was rolling like a ball after get hitten by the truck…but i also didn’t understand that how does it happened???From wher the car is cumin…i think it was cuming from the sindhi muslim side….isn’t it???30 min after da accients i passed from there and saw the car …it was really horrible……u ppl are sure that the driver is dead???
there were 5 people in the car, 3 died on the spot.. the other 2 were taken to the hospital. young guys, it happened in the middle of the night.. Shocking!!

these guys were my brother’s friend’s friends. apparently they were speeding and the Allah wali chowrangi is a dangerous place to do that coz of traffic mismanagement.
even crash tests don’t do that much damage!

The streets of Karachi can be very menacing! especially with all the signal free corridors opening up and still no proper traffic management and control in place.
Well, it was terrible. I have heard that the those guys were running away and a 15 mobile team was chasing them. I dont know if this is true but thats what i have heard. even if they were runing from the law what happened is sad.

I passed the scene at around 8 am yesterday. I think that the car was turning to tariq road from Allah wali chowrangi while the tanker was coming from the opposite direction and either the car rammed into it or vice versa. The car was brand new vTi, unregistered, and only scrap was left of it.
May Allah save us all from such disasters. Driving in Karachi is getting risker by the day, thanks to the motorcyclists, heavy vehicle drivers and rash car wallas. My car was brushed by a truck today at U turn opposite urdu sciene. He got in from the side, I braked to save the padestarians to thought suddenly to jump over the traffic and the truck brushed my side doors :(
the motorcyclists are the worst drivers.
does anyone knows that the other two guys are alive or or not????
