erm. the place is called Pivot Point?!

its a sister concern of Ravissant. was formerly the clifton branch of Ravissant till they got the licence for Pivot Point.

been my only hair salon for three years now. I doouubt the teachrs are cutting: Lubna, Saman, Sameena, Jennie or Sony.

its normally their trained batch needs to cut hair for their qualification of their particular course.

Great salon though. wouoldnt let anyone else ever touch my hair!

Guys hair cut is cheap! I pay 25 to just get them chopped off, and If I wore a wig I could have done it my self… But yeah! I am not the fashionable kind so anything would do for me… :P

    Yep…here for girls a wash+cut+blow dry is roughly = $50 = 2500 Rupees!!

What are the usual prices for this Clifton Salon?

Pivot Point like other salons has levels.

from a junior stylist: 500. wash. cut. blow dry

regular stylst: 1500. wash cut blow dry

saman: senior stylist: 2500 – 3500 wash cut blow dry.

Anathema you kidding me ?? So on average Gals would be spending 2000 for hair cut. That’s too much money for hair cut. I guess only wives/daughters/gfs of businessmen could afford that.

…& 1 time cutting is effective for how many days??

  19. Anathema (unregistered) on September 30th, 2006 @ 10:04 pm

    its really preferences :)

i wouldnt let anyonen but Arooj or Lubna touch my hair.

Livig Dolls and other places charge one-tength that much :).

how long does it last: depends on how the person takes care of their hair. im conscious about blow drying and products so mine lasts till the next cut (which can be anything between three and six months: style remains. length doesnt). most people dont. theirs lasts less than a month.

Hi! I’m coming to Karachi in about a week from the US, can any of you recommend a nice salon for a wash and blow dry? Also the cost because I’d like to get a blow dry 2 times a weeks while I’m there. Thanks.
