I read it after many days.

It took me great courage to write now., and am still shivering with the rage,.

Education or no Education – WE MUSLIMS are not to ILL_TREAT ANY WOMEN under no circumstances. PERIOD.

WE HAVE OUTCLASSED & OUTCASTED the native arabs who use to bury their females soon after birth.

The Only reason Holy Prophet (PBUH) was (sent) born in Arab was to bring them out of darkness and put an end to human abuse. Before HIM (PBUH) ARABS were the most backward heartless nation on face of earth. They never lived in peace, and their generations were involved in enemity, sectarian and tribal division to keep control on people.

Over the cross roads of Millenium, FOR US Pakistanis, am sure there will be no reformer / no prophet coming from Almighty BUT – AZAB of ALLAH.

DO we need another earthquake or shall we wait for a ‘SONAMI’ [Tsunami] to flood the INDUS Upstream to KALAM Valley

Thanks for posting this and bringing it to our minds, if we Can’t do anything, like me sitting here in USA at least we can pray for these trobled souls for peace in the rest of thier lives and after life, if if we all say a prayer fro them we are helping them, We cant deny the power of prayer, it is sad and heart breaking but not the last time we will be coming across such a cruel face of humanity. .I hope the mother in law and the bastard son rots in hell

As usual adnan you are way off base. Honor killings are a lot more prevalent in rural settings with uneducated people.

KG, I don’t know what do you mean by EDUCATION here but most of honour killing cases actually happen in educated families where an EDUCATED man abuse some woman in his family.

by reading all whats written above, it has brought a very enthusiastic feeling inside to do something for helpless and under priviliged people. everyone has his or her own view on who is to blame and what should be done. against injustice and wrong doings i can only recall of oen dialouge from rang de basanti, when aamir khan saya, “zindagi jeenay ke do hi tareeqay hotay hain, jo horaha hai usay chup chap bardasht kartay raho, ya phir zimidari uthao usko badalnay ki” i think, starting from me (inshallah i will) one should do as much as possible in his or her capacity to fight against injustice and for the betterment of the society. i think we are educated enough to take reasonable steps in our capacities that would help creating an awareness in the society of what is right and what is wrong. i dont mean it by only expressing your feelings, one should have a more practical approach for an example, one should talk to their, drivers, housekeepers, gatekeepers, etc about humanism, about teachings of islam, about how to live in society, on should discuss with them how do they live and what problems do they face in their society, because it is more common in poor, uneducated and under previliged class of people from where all these unjustified activities begin. the reasons are simple, very simple indeed, lack of education, no proper means of earning money, jealousy, inflation, everything you know… i dont have to mention.. everyone knows.. all these things create such circumstances where one loses his control over mind and throws out his frustration on weaks or anyone they feel like..

these stories are written, read, and forgotten. it has become a part of life. everyday you read in dawn that today xx number of cars and xx number of cell phones got snatched.. but at the end of the day who cares.. everyone knows it happens and it will happen and it can happen to us as well but no one thinks of it until they personally experience it. people are really carefree. one should think about life seriously.. this is no joke. i think one has to come out of the box to face the reality. obviously if you are given the same news everyday, than you would be like ok.. whatever.. people should change their attitude including me..

let us all make dua for all the helpless and needy people in pakistan and everywhere that allah may help them and provide us with enough courage and mental/physical abilities to do our best for the bettermet of the society!

But i do agree with you that EDUCATION is very important..and half of the problems are due to lack of education..and yes we just like to criticize west ,but we never learn anything positive from them .

@ SWA,jazbat apne jaga,unpardh hona apne jagaa ,magar kisi ko ko is had tak takleef paunchana ,is ka talluk insan ke apne mind se hae..aapne aksar educated logon ke bhi cases sune hoge..aksar educated log bhi apni wives ko torture kerte hae..iam sure ase 1000 cases hongae..i personally know one case where a husband brutally beated his wife,and he is a doctor (no kidding) .
