Picture of the Day: Good Morning Karachi
Today, I am choosing one of my own pictures as the Picture of the Day. Its
taken on the Rashid Minhas Road.
May this day bring a lot of happiness to all the readers and to our great city. May it unite all of us on the forum and in our lives.. May we have a wonderful Saturday and get done with all the things that we plan to do today. May there be happiness all around us. May this day bring an end to our problems.
Have a great weekend my fellow Karachiites. I hope you don’t get stuck in any traffic jam, and that you have a fun weekend. Enjoy your night out. Enjoy the food :)

beautiful picture =)
notice how the trees are drooping? like they are still sleepy and not ready yet to wake up!
Remove all the withered Date Palms and you will have a more beautiful picture.
nice picture but these date palms I saw them first late 2004 and they still look the same why arent they growing doesnt anyone water them or is it the karachi weather which is not suitable for them?
Ahmed, its funny. But I took this picture in 2004 and Karachi’s weather is suitable for palm trees..
so its all good.
@sufi
well you didnt mention the date this pic was taken so I guess they look different now.
I have seen similar palm trees around purani numaish and they didnt really look good infact one of the palm was burned and it was all black any recent pictures?
to better days ahead….cheers!
We all can see Light at the end of tunnel.
Let us not be withheld because of Tunnel Vision.
The date palm trees – majority are rooted, very few failed to get the strong footing due to multiple soil factors.
The few at Purani Numaish, STOP BY take a closer look and there are new ‘kounpals’ coming out.
We do not even spare trees when it comes to burning things in anger. It was burned last year.
