It is assumed in our part of the world that only women will cook to save their marital bliss. They will learn cooking from their mothers and grandmothers. That will be then the end of this story. But what about girls and boys,men and women who love cooking?
There are people who are passionate about creating culinary gems. They want to learn and sometimes their quest for knowledge drives them as far as Italy,France and United States So what about people who can not afford to go abroad and enrol in a culinary school? Should they only learn what is taught to them courtesy BBC Food and Masala Channel?
Why doesn’t Karachi have a culianry school of its own? What restricts the growth of a great school that teaches cooking and its multifaceted wonders?
Cooking is an art and Home Economics College does not qualify as a culinary school. Should cooking-crazy Karachiwalas remain deprived?
