Artist Commune
Just when you think that you know everything about Karachi, something else comes up and you’re left wondering.
Commune Artist Colony is one of the places that I found out, about a year ago. It is the brain child of Raania A. K. Durrani, a ceramist by profession and Yusuf Bashir, a fashion designer. But Artist Commune is a place where you can interact with the artists, you can show case your art, if you have some to your credit, enjoy performances sometimes, view exhibitions and feel great about the wave of creativity that engulfs you.
From music to phtography, every aspect of art melts down to a single point. Artist Commune is a great place to view the culmination of sorts. Think from the heart because that’s all you need to value innovation and creativity.
