Most Active Readers :-)
Congratulations guys, Karachi has officially the most active readership in all of metroblog world that is a network of over 50 cities. Refer to this:
http://www.metroblogging.com/discussions.phtml
Out of the top 20 active discussions all over the world, 15 were from Karachi only and only 2 were from outside Pakistan. We at KMB certainly have a loud voice and it says A LOT about the level of internet activity here. Makes me really proud :)

This also shows that we, the Karachiites, have a lot of free time on our hands. ;-))
Thats great :)
Congratulations to all the Karachi metro bloggers.
Not necessarily good. Could be there is much bickering and little substance. :)
I agree with Arsalan and MU. This is not really something to be proud of.
Wow! :)
Why is it not something to be proud of? It means that the young of Karachi/Pakistan are thinking and talking.
agreed with monkey. what some people may call bickering, it could b called dialog.
for the most part its civil too.
we hope someday to make kmb the voice of karachites everywhere !!
On positive side it shows how frustrated people are to talk about issues & how very few other options they have but to use internet. And they are therefore taking full advantage of it.
On negative side it shows how much only-talk-nation we are as it is pretty much reflected in our society. Firstly we don’t do any action and when we do its direction is wrong wasting our collective energies. Even in the discussion about the JAM ASH & DAILY TIMES post the discussion deviated onto if JAM ASH has proper Adobe with a proper license or onto or if he has properly bough WINDOWS or not. What the heck. What it has to do with where or not he can argue about his photo being misused.
Anyways, Well done KMB. Good or bad its activity does show that the readers and authors are trying best to prepare the Historical Diary for the city that our kids will one day read.
Free Time on our hands: I think its wonderful to have free time. I think most of the people work so hard in their lives just so they can enjoy the free time in their retirement. Isn’t it wonderful that we can enjoy that free time even before retirement. That’s what I love about the life here. And those who don’t agree to this lifestyle are usually the ones who cannot have it :P ..
Negative or positive, at least it’s a discussion. We don’t have enough forums for people to come out and express their opinions so I think it’s encouraging that we have that here.
Regardless of how ridiculous it may sound to you, no idea is stupid. If your ideas/opinions are being ridiculed remember even Galileo and Gandhi were once laughed at :) AND put in prison. Hehe
I was surprised to see that for some of the MetroBlogs people dont even write a single comment on some of the posts.
And on KMB we do have lots of comments even on stupid posts.
The credit doesn’t just goes to the writers of KMB but to the commentors who keep KMB alive, and its not just the ppl who are living in Khi but the ppl who are not in Khi but they belong to Khi.
Mansoor’s name is their on the first 5 active bloggers within 30 days having 40 posts. Cool man, give a tap on your back, but dont compromise on quality with quantity.
I agree with khitorpit.
and who is the most frequent blogger of Karachi metro blog?
I HATE TO SAY THIS…But I think CY gets the credit for making KMB most readable. With his controversial post.
@Kashif
well on # 6th its Mansoor from Karachi. 40 posts
We as KHIETTES are soooooo passionate… Now only if we can use this passion with postive constructionism..
Karachi Rocks!!! congrats all of u.

it is a great site….and lately karachi has been more active than most other cities for some unknown reasons….but a very interesting thing is that MARS and MABs from other cities rarely take part in the MADs here while those from karachi are often seen everywhere….????
