Picture of the Day: Karsaz Flyover

This picture appeared in Dawn a few weeks ago, but couldn’t get it from the online verison. This time, i found it via flickr, thanks to Ali Adnan Qazalbash.

Bonus points for whoever tells me HOW this pic was taken?

P.S. Anyone knows where i can find a similar photo of the Nazimabad underpass as well?

    isn’t there a tower sort of thing in Maritime museum? Maybe it was taken from there! Beautiful pic anyway =)

    guys.. even though there have been quite interesting responses (liked the churail suggestion LoL) but sadly, many of you were off the mark.

    This picture was actually taken from the top of a FIRE ENGINE! One of those with the hydraulic ladder on the back. The ladder was extended to its full capacity and the picture was taken from the top. This happened at around 2 AM, and i was passing by that area when this sight caught me.

    There is no such greenery around this flyover as shown in the inset picture. They have used computer graphics very well to change the barren land into greenery.

    I also saw the snorkel at 2 AM but i thought they were installing new bulbs on the pole.
