Protest Rally = Traffic Jam = A long ride home.

When you get stuck in a traffic jam in the middle of a bridge you know you’re in for one long journey home even before you see the reason for the jam.

Was on SF going the opposite way from where the rally that caused this traffic jam was taking place. Huge procession of buses, cars and bikes with red flags that I’ve often seen on the roads. What struck me was that plenty of buses sporting the flags were empty! Either there were one or two people inside along with the driver or there were about 15 people sitting on the roof while the entire bus was empty.

The consequent jam was miles long which blocked every turning to the road which in turned blocked the other side. If it isn’t VIP movement, it’s some protest. If it’s not a protest, it’s our own impatience. For whatever reasons traffic jams will forever be illogical on our roads.

It was a rally by a separatist movement “Jeay Sindh Qaumi Mahaz” and they were chanting slogans “Azadi” blah blah

I was at Karsaz yesterday when I saw ppl having banners of SNP (might be of Sindh National Party). There were lot of ppl there having banners and DANDA. We were in our uni’s point. Suddenly I saw some ppl start hitting the filling station (Caltex,Karsaz), then they move towards the caltex mart, completely break the glass and went inside and start robbing. I was too much afraid that time coz we have girls with us. I screamed in my point “Sheeshae band karo aur curtain gira dooo”. Just after few minutes (5 mins approx) an angry comes and start hitting our point’s body (thank god he didn’t try on glass) and after just 4 hard hits he gave up and go away.
