You should have given notice to the building management and bring this into their attention… whats the use of posting the pict over here ?

This is a pakistani norm brother … whats the unusual … from now if u start noticing how our people love o cross teh road on Red signal … and esp when it turns to yellow from green.

Just yesterday I was rushing my 17 months old kid to Liaqat hospital in emergency … I put on the hazard (emeergency) lights .. and was driving fast with my one hand on horn & the other on the dimmers … and right opposite to Liaqat hospital the U-turn … this guy on teh bike instead of giving me way blocked me and started abusing me … even when i showed him teh condition of my son who was literally dead … but Allhamdolillah recovered later.

Point is people are illiterate in this nation even with over 35% literacy rate … and so many measures of reforms in 60 years.

Wish your son a speedy recovery Hasan.

How hard is it to back up & park it vertically??

Maybe he was in a hurry? Had to…..umm, take a leak or something.

Btw since alot of folks find parallel parking tricky, any advice by the wonderfully knowledgeable readers? :))

Everyone should be considerate when parking. I wonder if towing enforement will help? I do see parking lot buildings in the next year or so being build. I think its an excellent source of revenue and people APPRICIATE the convenience for only having to pay 10-20 RS for a guarenteed, hassle free space. This is not too far as more and more people drive their own cars and dont have a chaufer to wait around.

@Red_Munk!!: Driving is a privilege, not a right. I suggest they go to a driving school and learn to parallel park, proper traffic rules, indicating and overtaking laws, what the lines on the road mean, etc.

    @Hassan Anwer,

nice to know that ur kid is fine.

comming to the traffic sense in people. i thought khi was much better then lahore.

but i visited khi last month after about a year and was horrified to c almost everone breaking the red light in the defence/clifton areas.

as far as parking like this is concerned, in UAE there is ahefty fine for anyone blocking another parking slot. it should be introduced in pakistan too!

other day i saw parallel parking manually done…

guy in loading suzuki pickup parked his car parallel
then came out of the car, he and his helper picked up the rear of the car by hand and push and alligned it with the rest of the cars in line.. :P

really pleased to know about your son..

Is LNH a good hospital? I know few inside stories
about it, which certainly concludes that it is not.

Deflate his tires next time, and put an anonymous note under his wiper telling him why you did it — Believe me, he will NEVER park that way again.

Some people need to be taught their lessons the hard way.

  18. Arsalaan Haleem (unregistered) on May 18th, 2007 @ 2:21 pm

@REF, with all due respect, I wish, I could deflate anyone tires….belive me, if I could, I would.

I think what you meant, was to deflate the car’s tires, not the owner’s……or am I being too much of a SmartAlec. :-))

    @ Wasiq

Well as per my experience LNH is better then the others. Atleast they have fully equipped premises and also the doctors are good.

Thank you all … Allhamdolillah my son is much better now, only left with fever.

He fell backwards in a way that he hit his head before the body … so impact was direct on his skull … for 2 minutes he was just shivering and for few minutes his body was breathless & without heart beat … which was certainly the scariest moment of my life.

May Allah give him health and aqal-o-fehm to our people.

@Hasan Anwer Zuberi…..Ameen!…iam happy for you….and your son…..LNH is a private hospital and they are very professional…and the rest is upto ALLAH….
